Damascus: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was received by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Damascus on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Foreign Ministry announced on Turkish social media platform NSosyal that Fidan was received by al-Sharaa during his visit to the Syrian capital. The meeting was part of Fidan's official visit to Syria.

Earlier in the day, Fidan engaged in talks with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani. The discussions were followed by a joint news conference, highlighting the diplomatic interactions between the two neighboring countries.
