Beirut: More than 30 explosions were reported in the southern Lebanese town of Al-Mansouri from late Friday through Saturday as Israeli attacks targeted homes and infrastructure in the area, according to Lebanon's official National News Agency.

According to Anadolu Agency, some homes were destroyed, while a drone dropped containers containing highly explosive material on the town, which also came under artillery fire. Elsewhere in southern Lebanon, which lies close to the border with Israel, Israeli warplanes struck areas in the Tyre, Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Marjayoun districts, while Israeli forces carried out explosions and artillery attacks.

In Khiyam, a large explosion shattered windows in nearby towns, while a drone dropped explosive material on homes, sparking a fire. The agency reported no casualties from Saturday's attacks.

The attacks followed another wave of Israeli strikes, shelling, and explosions in southern Lebanon on Friday that targeted residential areas, homes, a school, and infrastructure. Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2 have killed nearly 4,400 people and injured 12,500, according to Lebanese figures.

Israel continues to occupy areas in southern Lebanon, including territory held for decades and others seized during recent wars and military operations.
