Ramallah: Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians and detained a foreign solidarity activist Sunday during raids across the occupied West Bank, according to official Palestinian media.

According to Anadolu Agency, WAFA news agency reported that forces detained the activist and seized his vehicle at a checkpoint near Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. The army also tightened restrictions at the checkpoint, causing heavy traffic and disrupting residents' movement. The activist's fate was not immediately known.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian during a raid on Al-Tabaqa village south of Hebron, as reported by Palestine TV. Additionally, WAFA noted that forces raided Kafr Ein northwest of Ramallah and fired live ammunition, though no injuries were reported.

Israeli forces separately arrested former prisoner Shahid Mustafa Youssef Maatan, 23, while he was working at a private school in Rammun village. Near occupied East Jerusalem, military vehicles entered Anata and deployed across several streets and neighborhoods.

Forces also conducted raids in villages in Jenin province, searching a home in Arraba, according to the official Voice of Palestine radio. These actions are part of intensified operations by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank since October 8, 2023, amid ongoing conflict in the region. Reports detail various incidents, including killings, arrests, forced displacement, home demolitions, and settlement expansion in occupied East Jerusalem and beyond.
