Kyiv:At least three people have died, and over 40 have been injured as Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange accusations over overnight airstrikes.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ukrainian officials reported that in Kyiv, a warehouse, a fuel station, and an office building in the Holosiivskyi district, along with another fuel station in the Darnytskyi district, sustained damage during the attacks. Debris from drones also fell in the Solomianskyi district. Initially, one person was reported dead and seven injured, but later reports confirmed two fatalities and 23 injuries in the capital.

Odesa Governor Oleh Kiper stated that Russian strikes in the southern region targeted port and civilian infrastructure, including a commercial cargo vessel and several warehouses, resulting in one death. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service noted that additional rescue teams from the Mykolaiv region were dispatched to help extinguish fires caused by these attacks. Twelve more injuries were reported in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Zhytomyr regions.

Ukraine's Air Force announced that its air defenses successfully shot down 122 Russian drones overnight. In contrast, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that its forces targeted facilities in Kyiv allegedly involved in drone production, as well as logistics centers and a drone warehouse in Odesa. They also claimed to have intercepted 514 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions and maritime areas.

In Russia, Alexander Shuvaev, acting governor of the Belgorod region, reported eight injuries due to Ukrainian strikes, with two people in serious condition. In the Bryansk region, acting governor Yegor Kovalchuk noted two injuries from drone strikes in local villages.

As both nations have intensified their attacks, each continues to deny targeting civilian infrastructure, asserting that their operations focus on military objectives.
