New York:Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan met with Rachel Ruto, the wife of Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto, at the Turkish House in New York.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting took place behind closed doors as Erdogan, who also serves as the Chair of the UN Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste, engaged in discussions with Ruto.

Erdogan shared on social media that they exchanged views on several important topics, including health, the environment, education, family, and children's digital safety.
