KwaMakhutha:At least 11 people were killed and three others injured in a mass shooting at a home in KwaMakhutha township, located south of Durban in South Africa's eastern KwaZulu-Natal province.

According to Anadolu Agency, the incident occurred late at night when gunmen stormed a residential property where the victims were gathered and opened fire. A pregnant woman was among those killed in the attack.

Ten of the victims died at the scene, while one succumbed to injuries during transportation to a hospital. The gunmen also set fire to a vehicle belonging to the homeowner before fleeing the scene.

The motive for the attack remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. Authorities have yet to identify any suspects involved in the shooting.
