Suwayda:Armed groups launched an attack on internal security posts and homes in the Mazraa area of western Suwayda province in southern Syria on Friday.
According to Anadolu Agency, the attack was reported by Alikhbariah TV, which referred to the assailants as 'outlaws.' There is currently no information available about casualties or the extent of the damage resulting from the attack.
The Syrian Interior Ministry has not yet released a statement regarding the incident. This attack follows a similar incident about a month ago when four security personnel were injured on August 31 while responding to attacks in the western Suwayda countryside, which authorities also attributed to 'outlaw groups.'
