England Crush Croatia 7-0 in Historic UEFA Nations League Victory

Rijeka:England achieved a record-breaking 7-0 victory over Croatia, marking the heaviest defeat in Croatian football history during their UEFA Nations League match on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka each scored twice, with additional goals from Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon, and Morgan Rogers, as England dominated the League A Group 3 match in Rijeka.

The scoring began in the eighth minute when Kane capitalized on a pass from Bellingham to put England ahead. Gordon then set up Bellingham for a second goal in the 21st minute. Gordon further extended England's lead by heading in Jarell Quansah's cross in the 39th minute. Just before halftime, Saka scored, assisted by Bellingham's pass.

After the break, England continued their strong performance. Kane scored again in the 53rd minute following a pass from Elliot Anderson. Saka then added his second goal in the 68th minute after intercepting a misplaced pass from Croatia's Josip Stanisic. Rogers sealed the victory with a goal in the 87th minute, rounding the goalkeeper after receiving a through ball from Bellingham.

This defeat surpasses Croatia's previous record loss, a 6-0 defeat to Spain in 2018. With this win, England advanced to six points from three matches in Group 3, while Croatia remained with three points after suffering consecutive defeats. Spain, the group leader with six points from two matches, is set to play against Czechia later on Saturday.
