Sanliurfa:British Ambassador to Ankara, Jennifer Elizabeth Anderson, described her visit to the recently concluded TEKNOFEST festival in southeastern Turkey as an excellent opportunity to observe the creativity and innovative capabilities of the country's young engineers and scientists.
According to Anadolu Agency, Anderson shared a video on the US-based social media platform X, where she praised the festival, which is a major event for aerospace and technology in Turkey. The festival's latest edition took place in Sanliurfa, which she referred to as one of her favorite cities, expressing her admiration for the event.
Anderson emphasized the significance of the visit, highlighting the robust technology ecosystem in Turkey and discussing potential new avenues for cooperation between the UK and Turkey. Wearing a TEKNOFEST jacket, she expressed her hope to return to both Urfa and the festival in the future, stating she plans to keep the jacket as a reminder.
She also extended her gratitude for the experience and thanked key figures involved in the festival, including Selcuk Bayraktar, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation and chairman of the TEKNOFEST Board; Haluk Bayraktar, chairman of SAHA Istanbul Defence and Aerospace Cluster; and Elvan Kuzucu Hidir, chairwoman of the T3 Foundation.
