Antalya:Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday met with Rebecca Hunter and Michael Nicolls, senior executives from the US company SpaceX, during the 77th International Astronautical Congress.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting took place following the opening ceremony of the congress, which is being held in the Turkish Mediterranean city of Antalya.

The meeting was attended by several Turkish officials, including Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir, and Haluk Bayraktar, chairman of the SAHA Istanbul Defence and Aerospace Cluster.

The International Astronautical Congress will continue until Friday, though no further details of the meeting have been provided at this time.
