Ankara:The Czech Republic has announced its withdrawal from the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, citing budgetary reasons.

According to Anadolu Agency, Czech Television, the country's public broadcaster, issued a statement on Tuesday explaining the decision. It stated that due to ongoing budget adjustments, it will not take part in the 2027 edition of the contest.

The broadcaster described Eurovision as a large-scale project with significant programming, production, and organizational demands. It also noted that each edition of the competition is assessed separately, and declined to speculate on when Czech Television might participate again in the future.
