Israeli Strikes in Gaza Result in Multiple Palestinian Fatalities

Gaza:Four Palestinians, including a teenager and a civil defense medic, were killed in Israeli attacks on Wednesday. Several others were injured in the strikes.

According to Anadolu Agency, an Israeli drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Buraq neighborhood, west of Khan Younis, resulting in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to others. A volunteer medic with the Palestinian Civil Defense was killed in an airstrike as he was on his way to assist the wounded near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

In the Qizan Abu Rashwan area south of Khan Younis, a 17-year-old Palestinian was killed in a drone strike, as reported by medical sources at Nasser Hospital. Additionally, a Palestinian man in his 60s was killed in another drone strike on the Khan Younis camp. A teenager succumbed to injuries on Wednesday, and two Palestinians were wounded in a drone strike near Abu Hussein School in Jabalia, northern Gaza.

A teenager in southern Gaza died from a gunshot wound to the head inflicted last month by Israeli forces east of Khan Younis. A girl was also injured by Israeli gunfire aimed at tents for displaced Palestinians near Al-Amal neighborhood.

Israeli rubber boats reportedly advanced toward the coast of Rafah, opening fire on tents housing displaced Palestinians before retreating. The Israeli army carried out demolitions in Khan Younis and east of Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood amid ongoing gunfire.

Since October 2023, the conflict in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of over 74,000 Palestinians and injuries to more than 175,000, while approximately 90% of the enclave's infrastructure has been destroyed.
