Ankara:Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin engaged in a phone call to discuss bilateral ties and address regional and global issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan highlighted the significance of ensuring navigational safety in the Black Sea. He expressed Türkiye's readiness to facilitate direct communication between Russia and Ukraine.

Additionally, Erdogan took the opportunity to congratulate Putin on his recent birthday and the success of his party in the Duma elections.
