Istanbul:Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened on Thursday at 12,161.68, marking an increase of 0.32%, or 38.74 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 had previously experienced a decline of 2.03% on Wednesday, closing at 12,122.94 points. The daily transaction volume on that day was recorded at 113.5 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $2.3 billion.

At 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the exchange rates were noted as 49.2150 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.2505 to the euro, and 64.9515 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,124.40, and Brent crude oil futures were trading at $103.35 per barrel.
