Newcastle:Aston Villa achieved a 1-0 victory against Newcastle United in the seventh round of the English Premier League, thanks to Johan Manzambi's decisive first-half header.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Manzambi scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute, heading in Joao Gomes' cross past Newcastle's goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek. This win marked manager Unai Emery's 100th victory in the Premier League.

Aston Villa almost extended their lead shortly after when Emiliano Buendia's shot hit the post, ricocheted off Hornicek, but did not cross the line. The visitors maintained pressure, with Ross Barkley and Sven Botman both testing the Newcastle goalkeeper.

Newcastle sought to level the score in the final moments, but Yoane Wissa squandered two chances, allowing Villa to secure their second straight league win. This result places Villa level with Newcastle at eight points from seven matches and represents their first back-to-back league victories at St. James' Park since the 1957-58 season.
