Tehran:Iran's Army Ground Forces commander Brig. Gen. Jahanshahi has directed military unit commanders to maintain the highest level of combat readiness due to escalating tensions with the United States.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Jahanshahi emphasized that any negligence during wartime could have serious repercussions. He highlighted the importance of continuous training, accurate assessments of military capabilities, and coordination among units to maintain effective operational readiness.

Jahanshahi further instructed commanders to enhance combat capabilities through careful planning, continuous supervision, and effective follow-up. These directives come amid heightened military tensions between Iran and the US, following months of hostilities and ongoing disputes over security and maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
