Paris:Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated on Monday that Italy's stance on Ukraine is to remain steadfast, emphasizing that the country's position "cannot change."

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Crosetto made these remarks at a joint news conference following a Group of Five (E5) defense ministers' meeting in Paris. He highlighted the commitment Italy has made at international, European, and NATO levels regarding the situation in Ukraine.

The minister stressed the significance of the events in Ukraine, describing them as a threat to Europe's security. Crosetto underlined that aiding Ukraine is synonymous with securing Europe's future and security. "We will continue to do so to the extent of our capabilities," he affirmed.
