Marib: Airstrikes targeted weapons depots belonging to Yemen's Houthi group in the central Marib province.

According to Anadolu Agency, the pro-government West Coast news platform reported that the strikes hit Houthi weapons depots in the Al-Jubah district. Details on casualties or damage were not provided.

In a separate development in Marib, Yemeni government forces successfully thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt in the Harib district, as per the outlet.

Additionally, the media arm of the Taiz military command stated that warplanes targeted a Houthi ballistic missile launch platform at Taiz airport. Local sources also indicated that airstrikes targeted a meeting of Houthi leaders at the local council building in Khadir, east of Taiz.

The reported attacks occur amid escalating fighting between the Houthis and government-aligned forces. Airstrikes have increasingly targeted Houthi positions, reinforcements, and missile-launching sites in Taiz province in recent weeks.

Yemen has been engulfed in conflict since the Houthis seized the capital Sanaa in 2014, prompting a Saudi-led coalition to intervene in March 2015 in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
