Ankara: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan have publicly condemned the recent Israeli military actions in southern Syria, citing concerns over regional security and stability. The denunciation comes after reports of Israeli forces opening fire on Syrian civilians and shelling the village of Abidin in the Daraa countryside, as well as conducting aerial operations over Quneitra and Daraa.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly rejecting Israeli actions in the region, including the artillery attacks on Syrian territories. The statement emphasized the kingdom's disapproval of the terrorizing of civilians and violations of international laws. Saudi Arabia reaffirmed the importance of adhering to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and expressed support for Syria's sovereignty.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry also criticized the Israeli attack, labeling it a clear violation of Syrian sovereignty and international law. The ministry cautioned that ongoing Israeli military actions could escalate tensions in the region and impede efforts aimed at ensuring security and stability.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali echoed similar sentiments, describing the Israeli incursions as serious violations of Syria's sovereignty and a breach of international law. Majali underscored the need to cease all Israeli military actions against Syria, warning of escalating conflict and tensions.

The three Arab nations reiterated their support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity and called upon the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions. The recent incidents are part of a pattern of Israeli military operations in Syria, which have included airstrikes, ground incursions, and civilian detentions, following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime and the subsequent collapse of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
