Suwayda:Armed groups launched explosive-laden drones targeting internal security posts in Syria's southern Suwayda province late Tuesday, as reported by Syrian media.
According to Anadolu Agency – English, Alikhbaria TV, referencing a security source, indicated that groups labeled as 'outlaws' were responsible for targeting security positions in the province's western countryside.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the attack, and the Syrian Interior Ministry has not yet provided a comment on the incident. This latest attack comes after armed groups opened fire on security posts and homes in the Mazraa area of western Suwayda on October 2. Previously, on August 31, similar attacks in the area resulted in four security personnel being wounded during confrontations with armed groups, as stated by Syrian authorities.
