Berlin: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan proposed to Azerbaijan the adoption of a joint roadmap to resolve the long-standing "Karabakh issue." "I am making a direct proposal (to Azerbaijan): let us sit down and develop a roadmap for how we remove this issue," Pashinyan stated at a press briefing in Germany.

According to Anadolu Agency, Pashinyan's proposal follows a statement from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry criticizing the wording in a recent strategic agenda between Armenia and the EU. The document referred to 'Karabakh Armenians displaced following Azerbaijan's military operations,' classifying them as 'refugees,' which Baku described as biased.

Pashinyan addressed the issue of "return of Armenians to Karabakh," labeling it a dangerous subject. He suggested that resolving the issue could eliminate potential conflicts in the future. He conveyed to the people from Karabakh that their return is not a realistic option and emphasized the need to avoid restarting the Karabakh movement.

Pashinyan also pointed out Azerbaijan's use of the term 'western Azerbaijan,' which he described as incomprehensible, indicating ongoing tensions and misunderstanding between the two nations.
