Azerbaijani President Aliyev to Visit Ankara for Talks with Erdogan

Ankara: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is scheduled to visit the Turkish capital, Ankara, to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting is set to occur at the Presidential Complex, following Erdogan's invitation, as announced by Trkiye's communications director, Fahrettin Altun, on X.

According to Anadolu Agency, the leaders are anticipated to discuss measures to enhance the relationship between Ankara and Baku, as well as address regional and global developments. The visit will also feature a live connection for the opening ceremony of the Igdir-Nakhchivan Natural Gas Pipeline. This project, jointly initiated by Erdogan and Aliyev on September 25, 2023, is an 85-kilometer pipeline stretching from Trkiye's eastern province of Igdir to Sederek in western Azerbaijan, with an annual capacity of 500 million cubic meters.
