Bahrain Intercepts Over 100 Iranian Missiles and Drones

Manama: Bahrain announced that its air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed 102 missiles and 173 drones, which were launched towards the kingdom in what has been described as 'Iranian aggression.'

According to Anadolu Agency, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force issued a statement categorizing the attack as a 'sinful Iranian aggression' aimed at the kingdom. This development forms part of a broader regional escalation following a joint attack by Israel and the US on Iran, which took place on February 28. The attack resulted in more than 1,200 casualties, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as reported by Iranian authorities.

In response, Iran has launched retaliatory drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and various Gulf countries where US military forces are stationed. The situation has sparked heightened tensions across the region.
