Baku:Trkiye Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded Wednesday at 12,118.29 points, reflecting a decline of 1.08%.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index began the day at 12,231.97 points and experienced a decrease of 132.39 points from Tuesday's closing figure. During the session, the lowest recorded value was 12,118.29, while the highest reached 12,253.40.

The BIST 100's market valuation stood at approximately 11.85 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $240.6 billion, with a trading volume of 86 billion liras or $1.74 billion. Out of the stocks listed, 12 saw gains, whereas 82 recorded losses compared to the previous close.

As of 1645GMT, gold was priced at $4,078.10 per ounce, and Brent crude futures were trading at $106.4. The exchange rates for the US dollar, euro, and British pound against the Turkish lira were 49.3920, 54.9625, and 65.0080, respectively.
