Ankara:According to Anadolu Agency, Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, began trading on Wednesday at 13,152.37 points, marking a decrease of 0.35% or 46.47 points from the previous session.

On Tuesday, the BIST 100 closed down by 1.04% at 13,198.84 points, with a daily transaction volume of 147 billion liras, equivalent to $3.02 billion.

As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), the exchange rate was 48.8070 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.8010 to the euro, and 65.0575 to the British pound. The price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,328.5, while Brent crude futures were trading at $98.5 per barrel.
