Ankara:Trkiye: The country's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, began Thursday's trading session at 13,172.44 points, marking a decrease of 0.6% or 79.41 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, this follows a rise of 0.4% on Wednesday, when the index closed at 13,251.85 points with a daily transaction volume of 133 billion liras, equivalent to $2.72 billion.

At 10:05 am local time (0705GMT), the exchange rates were reported as 48.8550 Turkish liras per US dollar, 55.7675 per euro, and 65.8585 per British pound. Additionally, the price for an ounce of gold was $4,282.2, while Brent crude futures were trading at $103.65 per barrel.
