Baku:Trkiye The benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened Wednesday at 12,231.97 points, marking a decline of 0.15% or 18.71 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index had closed at 12,250.68 points on Tuesday, reflecting an increase of 0.82% with a daily transaction volume of 92.9 billion Turkish liras ($1.88 billion).

As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), currency exchange rates were recorded at 49.3925 Turkish liras per US dollar, 55.4030 per euro, and 65.5355 per British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,146.90, while Brent crude futures were trading at $105.95 per barrel.
