Zixing: At least two people were killed and 27 rescued when a boat sank in central China's Hunan province, state media reported on Sunday. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when the 40-seat boat capsized at Dongjiang Lake in the city of Zixing, causing 29 people to fall into the water.

According to Anadolu Agency, search and rescue efforts concluded Sunday afternoon as the only missing person was found but showed no vital signs. Initial investigations revealed that a sudden gust of wind, reaching speeds of up to 30 meters per second, struck the area at the time of the accident.
