Brooklyn: The Brooklyn Nets retired Hall of Famer Vince Carter's No. 15 jersey on Saturday. "This is truly something my family and I will cherish forever," Carter expressed during a ceremony held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. "It is an honor to be up there with you gentlemen. No. 15 Carter is going up there, but we're going up there together," he added.

According to Anadolu Agency, Carter holds the team's NBA record for single-season points, scoring 2,070 during the 2006-07 season. In the Brooklyn Nets' NBA history, he ranks third in points with a total of 8,834 points accumulated over 374 games across more than four seasons. Additionally, Carter stands as the sixth-highest assist producer for the Nets, contributing 1,762 assists and leading the team to the playoffs three times.

Carter's illustrious career includes being an eight-time All-Star and the 1998-99 Rookie of the Year. Over his 22 seasons in the NBA, he has played for the Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, and Atlanta Hawks.
