Ottawa: Canada's air navigation service provider NAV CANADA announced that airports at six Canadian locations are "gradually resuming" operations following "bomb threats" that led to temporary ground stops.

According to Anadolu Agency, NAV CANADA reported that services are being restored at the affected airports after evacuations and threat assessments by authorities. The airports in question include Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Vancouver. The organization reassured that employees in these locations are safe and indicated that authorities are working collaboratively to manage the situation following the reported threats.

Travelers have been advised to stay informed by checking directly with their airlines, as delays in flights may occur. In a related update, Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport stated on X that it is examining a security incident which could impact airport operations.

Ottawa police have confirmed their collaboration with the airport to investigate the ongoing security incident.
