Jiuquan: China on Monday launched the Kuaizhou-11 Y7 carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, successfully placing eight new satellites into their designated orbits.

According to Anadolu Agency, the rocket lifted off from the launch site at 12:12 p.m. (0412 GMT). This launch followed a separate event where China launched the Yaogan-50 02 remote sensing satellite from a launch center in northern Shanxi Province just a day earlier.
