Hainan: China on Monday launched a new group of low Earth orbit satellites for an internet constellation from the southern island province of Hainan, state media reported. The launch marks a significant step in China's efforts to expand its internet satellite network.

According to Anadolu Agency, the group will form the 13th internet constellation. A Long March-12 carrier rocket lifted off at 10.41 am local time (0241GMT), successfully sending the satellites into their predetermined orbit.
