Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi declared on Monday that Beijing is committed to supporting the core interests and major concerns of African countries, as per a statement released by the ministry.
According to Anadolu Agency, Wang Yi made these remarks during a group meeting with envoys from over 50 African countries and representatives of the African Union in Beijing. He stressed that strengthening solidarity and cooperation with African nations remains a priority in China’s diplomatic agenda.
Wang Yi affirmed that China will steadfastly prioritize solidarity and cooperation with African countries, indicating that this relationship will continue to be a central focus of China’s foreign policy. He further emphasized that China-Africa relations have been elevated to a strategic partnership, underscoring the importance of mutual support on issues concerning each other’s core interests and major concerns.
