Beijing: Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Friday called for integrating policy support with reform and innovation to "better stimulate market vitality and create new growth drivers in domestic demand," according to the state-run newspaper China Daily.
According to Anadolu Agency, Li made the remarks while presiding over a plenary meeting of the State Council, which discussed a draft government work report and a draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for economic and social development. Both documents are set to be deliberated in March.
He emphasized the importance of stabilizing employment, businesses, markets, and expectations, ensuring that policies are enacted promptly when needed, and guaranteeing the completion of this year's goals and tasks.
The premier also highlighted the necessity of balancing immediate and long-term priorities to "promote high-quality development in a solid manner." He underscored the need for significant progress in developing new quality productive forces, strengthening the domestic economy, and increasing household incomes.
