Beijing-based Xinhua News posted an AI-generated mock debate between the two rivals on its website, dubbed a "Parody Show." According to Anadolu Agency, the program began with a woman host introducing the presidential debate in the United States, followed by her male colleague who remarked, "Finally, with someone who golfs better than he governs," in reference to Donald Trump. Trump recently participated in a ceremonial golf tournament, claiming to be the best player of the sport in the world. The debate commenced with Trump, referred to as 'Mtr. Upperwood' by the anchor, being asked about the escalating national debt. Trump claimed it would "magically go down under my watch." Kamala Harris, while grimacing, ridiculed this claim, dubbing him a "commander-in-cheat" and questioning his knowledge of the economy. In response to a ques tion about China's changing role in the international order, Harris commented on China's infrastructure projects in Africa and their lunar accomplishments. She criticized Trump's stance on China, comparing it to a "soggy egg roll," and promised to double the number of sanctions on China, including unconventional sanctions on items like Chinese buttons and toothpicks, citing concerns over DNA collection.
