Cyprus' preparations to host a Group of Eurobasket 2025, were discussed during a meeting between the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO) leadership and the FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zaglis.

According to a CSO announcement, the President of the Organization Andreas Michaelidis, the member of the Board of Directors Kalli Hadjiiosif and the General Director Mary Charalambous Papamiltiades had a meeting with Zaglis to discuss FIBA Eurobasket 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides took stock of Cyprus' preparations to host a Group of Eurobasket 2025, the biggest sports event to take place in Cyprus.

From the representatives of the Cyprus Sports Organisation, it was stressed that the country will be ready for the great event, and that a number of improvements to existing infrastructure are underway.
