Prague: Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka has pledged to continue supporting Israel politically, including at the European level, while advocating for closer economic cooperation between the two nations.
According to Anadolu Agency, Macinka made these remarks while speaking alongside Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar at the opening of the Czech-Israeli Business Forum. He emphasized that Prague is committed to strengthening bilateral economic relations and maintaining its political support for Israel.
The forum aims to foster new business contacts and achieve tangible outcomes through contracts, joint projects, investments, and long-term partnerships. Macinka highlighted the defense industry, cybersecurity and digital technologies, health care and biotechnology, and transport and logistics as key areas for future collaboration.
Macinka further stated that Czech companies should be seen not only as suppliers but also as equal partners and investors, underscoring the mutual benefits of the partnership.
