Prague: The Czech Republic's ANO party, led by Andrej Babis, has announced plans to sign a coalition agreement with two Eurosceptic parties, the Motorists and the SPD party, on November 3, as reported by local media.

According to Anadolu Agency, Babis confirmed that an agreement has been reached with the Motorists party and the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party to establish a coalition government. The coalition agreement is scheduled to be formalized next week. The leaders of these three parties are set to convene on Wednesday to deliberate on the distribution of key parliamentary posts and outline the policy agenda for the prospective government.

This development follows President Petr Pavel's decision on Monday to formally authorize Babis to negotiate the formation of a new government. The ANO leader is preparing to present the coalition agreement along with the government's main priorities to President Pavel later this week.

In the parliamentary election held on October 3-4, ANO, led by the populist billionaire Babis, emerged victorious with approximately 34.7% of the vote. This result placed them well ahead of the center-right Spolu coalition, which garnered around 23.2%.
