Death Toll from Israeli Strikes on Lebanon Rises to 486, Health Ministry Says

Beirut: The death toll from Israel's attacks on Lebanon since last Monday rose to 486, with 1,313 people injured, the Lebanese Health Ministry said Monday evening.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the ministry, released a statement indicating that the number of fatalities from the Israeli assaults since March 2 has increased to 486, with 1,313 individuals wounded.

The escalation has intensified following a joint attack launched by Israel and the US on Iran on February 28, which resulted in the deaths of more than 1,200 people, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military installations.
