Italy's budget deficit will fall under 3% of GDP in 2026 according to the "ambitious" Structural Budget Plan (PSB) examined by the cabinet Tuesday, the economy ministry said. The plan, part of a reform of European budgetary riles, also envisages a net growth in spending to an average 1.5%, and extends from four to seven years the budgetary adjustment plan.
