Democrats Criticize Trump Administration Over US and Israel Attacks on Iran

Washington: The attacks on Iran by the US and Israel have brought sharp criticism from Democrats toward President Donald Trump's administration. Democratic leaders have voiced their concerns, arguing that the strikes undermine national security and lack strategic foresight.

According to Anadolu Agency, the strikes carried out by Israel and the US on Iran have drawn criticism from Democrats. Democratic Representative Eric Swalwell criticized the attacks on Iran, stating they are 'not consistent with our values.' Senator Mark Kelly accused the Trump administration of acting impulsively without considering the next steps, emphasizing the need for a measured approach.

California Governor Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania's Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro argued that Trump's approach puts Americans at risk and undermines the country's national security interests. They highlighted the potential repercussions of such actions on international relations and domestic safety.

Democratic Representative Ro Khanna and Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expressed concern that diplomatic options had been ignored.
