Doha: The 23rd edition of the Doha Forum, scheduled for December 6-7, will focus on the theme 'Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress.' This annual event, held under the patronage of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, aims to gather heads of state, policymakers, and global experts to discuss pressing global challenges.

According to Anadolu Agency, the forum's executive director, Mubarak Ajlan Al-Kuwari, emphasized the critical need for fair, accountable, and collective governance in light of the world's overlapping crises. Al-Kuwari highlighted Doha Forum's role as a leading platform for exploring the intersection of diplomacy, development, and humanitarian action to achieve measurable progress.

The event will feature prominent global leaders such as Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, President and CEO of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates.

The 2025 program, developed in collaboration with global think tanks and research institutions, includes sessions like "The Gaza Reckoning: Reassessing Global Responsibilities and Pathways to Peace," "Gulf-EU Relations in the Age of Strategic Isolation," "AI as a Double-Edged Sword: Strategies for Responsible Use in the Military Domain," and "US-China Relations: Navigating the Risks and Opportunities of a Changing Global Order."

Anadolu is the global communication partner for the forum, which is expected to attract over 6,000 participants from more than 150 countries. The previous edition, held in December 2024 with the theme 'The Innovation Imperative,' had over 5,000 attendees, including more than 350 speakers.
