Leningrad: A warehouse facility in Russia's Leningrad region sustained damage early Tuesday following a large-scale drone attack, according to local authorities.

According to Anadolu Agency, Governor Alexander Drozdenko announced on Telegram that "damage was recorded in a warehouse area near the village of Krasny Bor." In response to the incident, Russian air defenses intercepted 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) after a security hazard was declared in the region's airspace at 0106GMT.

Governor Drozdenko reported that one person was injured in the attack and confirmed that the threat was addressed successfully. The warehouse is part of a logistics center that has been under multiple strikes since mid-July, specifically targeting facilities belonging to the Russian online retailer Wildberries.

The Ukrainian government has yet to comment on the latest incident, leaving questions about the attack's origins and intentions unanswered.
