Moldova: A drone crossed Moldovan airspace and crashed near the southeastern village of Copanca during a suspected Russian attack on Ukraine, Moldova reported on Monday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry released a statement on Telegram condemning the incident as a "serious and unacceptable violation" of Moldova's airspace. This occurred amidst Russian airstrikes targeting Ukraine's Odesa region.

The ministry emphasized that this incident highlights the ongoing risks posed by the Russian Federation's aggressive actions against Ukraine. It reiterated Moldova's commitment to defending its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity while collaborating with international partners to bolster the country's security and resilience.

Russia has yet to respond to Moldova's statement regarding the drone incident.
