Rio de Janeiro: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday attended a session titled Sustainable Development and Energy Transition on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders' summit in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro city. The session was held behind closed doors at the Museum of Modern Art, following the opening speech by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. According to Anadolu Agency, this summit marks the first occasion where Brazil has taken the helm of the G20, an economic coalition that consists of the world's 20 largest economies. The G20 is composed of 19 countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Russia, Trkiye, UK, and UK, along with two regional bodies, the African Union and the European Union.
