ISTANBUL: European stocks closed Wednesday on a mixed note. The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.07 points, or 0.01%, to finish the day flat at 508.02. Germany's DAX added 64 points, or 0.35%, to end the session at 18,330. Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer, rising 75 points, or 0.67%, to 11,278. France's CAC 40, on the other hand, lost 10 points, or 0.14%, to close at 7,396. The UK's FTSE 100, meanwhile, fell 12 points, or 0.15%, to finish just below 8,194.
