ISTANBUL: European stock exchanges closed Tuesday with gains. The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was up 2.08 points, or 0.4%, to 517.19. The UK's FTSE 100 added 31 points, or 0.38%, to end the session at 8,309. Germany's DAX gained almost 93 points, or 0.5%, to finish at 18,726. France's CAC 40 rose nearly 38 points, or 0.51%, to 7,487. Italy's FTSE MIB, meanwhile, increased 210 points, or 0.63%, to 33,780. Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 122 points, or 1.06%, to 11,703 at the closing bell. Source: Anadolu Agency
