ISTANBUL: Stock exchanges in Europe closed with losses Tuesday. The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 5.1 points, or 0.97%, to close at 519.84. The UK's FTSE 100 lost 65 points, or 0.78%, to end the day at 8,298. Germany's DAX shed 183 points, or 0.97%, to 18,747. France's CAC 40 decreased 71 points, or 0.93%, to wrap the session up at 7,575. Italy's FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, losing 457 points, or 1.33%, to finish the day at 33,863.
