The election of Cyprus, for the first time, in the UN Human Rights Council for the period 2025-2027 is an excellent result for our country, President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides has stressed. This result, he added on a post on 'X' "demonstrates the respect and trust shown to Cyprus to participate in important organizations of the UN system".
