Explosions in Southern and Southwestern Iran Claim Six Lives and Injure Several

Ahvaz: At least six individuals lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries in two separate explosions in southern and southwestern Iran, as reported by local media outlets on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, one of the explosions occurred at a four-unit residential complex in the Kianshahr neighborhood of Ahvaz, southwestern Iran. This incident resulted in the deaths of five people, attributed to a failure to observe safety precautions. The Ahvaz Municipality Fire Department and Safety Services indicated that a leak in the city's gas network caused the explosion.

In a separate incident in Bandar Abbas, located in southern Iran, an unknown substance exploded in an eight-story building situated in an alley off Moallem Boulevard. The Fars news agency reported that a four-year-old girl died in this explosion, and approximately 14 others were injured.
