Moscow: Russian emergency workers extinguished a fire that broke out near an administrative building along Presnenskaya Embankment in central Moscow, the country's Emergency Situations Ministry said.
According to Anadolu Agency, the blaze was initially reported as a car fire in an underground parking area. However, it was later clarified that the fire involved construction materials at a site adjacent to the Afimall City shopping center.
Fire and rescue teams responded swiftly, managing to contain the fire across an area of 30 square meters. Authorities confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
The fire occurred in a busy business district, but operations in the area have since returned to normal, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily activities within the district.
Afimall City, a significant retail and business complex, is situated within the Moscow International Business Center, commonly referred to as 'Moscow City,' which serves as a hub for corporate offices and commercial activity.
